Jaw-x IO
Febr. 2007
The first Jaw-x IO version is ready and works well, it is quick to learn and to use. A user calls in and reports that she measured a patient and detected Osteoporosis, when the patient heard that she remembered that she was already diagnosed at the hospital. Even though we have done some serious testing on 103 images with a known diagnosis this was a report that told us that it works in reality.

Meeting with University of Manchester
Dec. 21, 2006
We went over to Manchester to discuss a cooperation around their method to detect Osteoporosis by measuring the width of the cortical bone on a Panoramic dental X-ray. We realized that we could easily use our existing Jaw-x platform to provide a user interface for the University's method that would take their method to the market. We all agreed that it makes sense to cooperate and we decided to start with Clinical Tests in Sweden where the raw core software from the scientists will be used. The plan is to provide Jaw-x PANO which measures on a Panoramic image beside our existing Jaw-x IO which measures on an intraoral apical image.
